August 2, 2008 News: Happy Summer!

There is an age old question that comes to mind.

2008 has been a year with odd weather patterns.
It looked like Summer was here to stay. Nope.

There is still a rediculous amount of snow in the mountains, keeping hikes to the lower elevations. However, there are plenty of festivals every weekend now!

Looking to get away from the Seafair crowds this weekend? Check out the Anacortes Arts festival. It is excellent! While you are there, I heard that there will be some very tasty Croatian food served by the Vela Luka Croatian dance ensemble at the little church on the street along the water. Enjoy!
