December 3, 2008 News: Happy Holidays!

I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving celebration. Make this holiday season a special time with family and friends. Remember to relax and take some time for yourself too during this busy season.

2008 has been a big year of change for many. I have high hopes that America will get economically back on track and will regain some of our lost respect in the world. I am optimistic of the fresh new look that Obama brings as our new president in 2009.

Looking for some great holiday shopping? Check out the Victorian Country Christmas show at the Puyallup fairgrounds (December 3rd-7th). Plan to spend a day or two there. Holiday Entertainment? I joined the Everett Chorale and will be performing at the Everett Performing Arts Center in Everett on Saturday, December 6th at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 7th at 3:00pm. We also have an amazing flautist, Jeffrey Cohan who will be joining us. Following our performance each day, "Beauty and the Beast" will also be performed for those interested (separate booking). The Seattle Seahawks are having a dreadfully sad football season due to injuries. There are still a few games left with coach Mike Holmgren, but this will be his last year with the Seahawks. Things look grim, but there is always next year... See: Seattle Seahawks web site
